This is a cool knitting pattern I found at Knitting Tips By Judy. It is called "Like Lace". I am using the previously handspun tussah silk. 
Below you can see the un-stretched scarf pattern.
Below you can see the stretched pattern, which really looks like lace. It is an easy technique to knit, though I had a hard time at times finding the best needle size to use. I decided on size 6 and it looks great.
