Okay, here it is! I did it! Well, it came out good. However, I did a "black dye", well, didn't come out as good as I wanted, but I'll see how it came out once it is completely dry. Now, the main thing is figuring out what pattern to use, as the column of leaves pattern I wanted to use is not as easy as I thought it would be. (Pardon the date on the picture. I keep messin' with the date on the camera. I wish I was able to cancel the date on the camera, but no such luck)

Spinning Tussah Silk
I decided to spin a bit more of Tussah Silk. I have to admit this is the first time I actually spin it and I just love it! I was a bit afraid of it as I didn't think I could do it, but seems like I am doing a good job. I plan to spin another batch and 2 ply it and see if I can dye it a bluish color. I plan to use the silk to knit a nice scarf utilizing a leaf pattern. I'll see if it comes out good and take pictures later.
I hope every person who enjoys spinning is able to try new fibers to play with. You never know what you may get, but it is always an excellent experience!
Okay, on the picture below you see silly Tiffany always next to me and creeping around to sneak a peak at the fiber I spin. She loves to take pictures. Yes, you wouldn't think of it, but she is actually pretending that she is "just passing through", but she did in on purpose in order to come out in the picture. :-)

Reminiscing about the Rabbit Shows
Going to Rabbit Shows is one of the most rewarding experience a person can engage in. Meeting the other breeders, making new friends, meeting and getting to know the judges, among other things is one of the most wonderful experience one can fully enjoy. The rush one feels from having your rabbits judged is an understandable, nerve wrecking ordeal. It is superb listening to the judges' comments about your own rabbits and others, their best qualities and flaws. Overall, the whole Showing experience is something that every rabbit breeder must partake at one point in their lives. The wonderful feeling of being amongst wonderful people who are a "special breed", always smiling, always socializing, and forever offering unconditional friendships is something that should be relished by all rabbit breeders.

Have You Ever Thought of Raising Angora Rabbits for Wool?
There is a very insteresting article I found while searching the internet titled: Raising Angora Rabbits for Wool, by Chris McLaughlin, Dec 27, 2008.
Although it would sound great to raise Angora Rabbits for Wool, the reality is that foreign markets have the monopoloy on the angora wool. However, one can always enjoy the company of their own rabbits and make a bit of money collecting wool, spinning it, and/or knitting/crocheting items.

Decided to decorate the wheel
When one gets tired of spinning or carding wool one gets mischievous and decides to decorate the spinning wheel! :)
One starts with a blank canvas.
Then one draws an outline of the design.
Eventually, one paints it as best as possible. Not the best design, but I'm pretty satisfied with it.

Knitting project
Am releasing the postings that didn't go through due to a minor glitch in my blog.
This is a project I'm working on. Utilizing Fiesta Colors thick and thin nobby angora wool and a store bought yarn. Working on this "Scribble-Scrabble Scarf Pattern" I got from ravelry.

Spinning for fibers
Unfortunately, I've been having problems with the blog not releasing postings due to a glitch on the program. I already fixed it, or so I think. Here are the postings that should've been released earlier.
Decided to spin some of the stash wool in the fiber room and spin it thin to use it as lace yarn for some projects I've been thinking of.

Fiber Artist's Place
This are just a few pictures of a Fiber Artist Room. Not all the items in the room are here, but gives an idea of the great color palette that can be utilized to make items or to blend with the angora fiber, spin it, and even machine knit them.
